“Interest has fizzled”

Eight Republican Senators and White House officials have no interest in reigniting meetings to tackle the country’s budget woes.

However, NAIOP continues to meet with congressional members of both the House and Senate on budget and tax reform, educating their staffs on the economic importance of the commercial real estate industry.

NAIOP will continue advancing its advocacy agenda in 2014, as measures that were introduced in 2013 could gain further traction during the second session of the 113th Congress.
