Kim CameronPersonal Summary
I was born in Bozeman, Montana and moved to Minnesota when I was in second grade.  I attended Annunciation grade school in South Minneapolis.  Both of my parents were from the East Coast, so we were working our way back east but never made it!

I have a degree in Art History from the University of Minnesota, and for the past 25 years I have been fine tuning art project management. We started Art Partners Group (APG) in my dining room in 2006 and I’m happy to report that we are now a company of 16 and moving out of 9,600 square feet into a 12,000 square foot facility in St. Louis Park.  We needed more space for all of our equipment and growing staff.

After 2009, the worst year in my business career, we added new services in addition to art and framing.  A major part of our business has become graphics, vinyl, history walls and display installations. We work with designers, property managers/owners, developers and directly with businesses to provide solutions for space branding.

Our projects span from single offices to Target Field and from the MoZaic Plaza to the U of M.  Please visit www.artpartners.com to see the wide range of our installations.
I joined NAIOP 15 years ago and have benefited greatly from my membership.  I am a big fan of developers and real estate professionals.  APG has also been a NAIOP Bronze sponsor since our second year in business.  I have served on the sponsorship, membership, community enhancement, education and special events committees over the years.  NAIOP relationships have been extraordinarily valuable in my career.

APG is also a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certified company.  The Minnesota Twins nominated APG for Major League Baseball’s Jackie Robinson Award.  On May 15th we were presented the award on the field and I was honored to throw out the first pitch at the Twins game.  Watch the video here!

When I am not at work, I spend most of my time figuring how to get to my three daughters’ activities. Maggie is an 11th grader, a swimmer and will be one of the captains of the Southwest High School swim team next year.  She also rides both English and Western style and has been hired as a barn manager this summer at a camp in Wisconsin.  Emma is my 9th grader who plays varsity fast pitch as short stop at Southwest and also plays for an elite summer league playing over a 100 games a season.  She is also a swimmer.  Tess, the 7th grader, is also a swimmer, plays the piano and is a competitive Irish dancer.

My husband Tony and I walk around  Lake Harriet as much as we can. We have been lucky to live in Linden Hills for the past 20 years. We just enjoyed a wonderful family vacation to Tulum, Mexico over spring break.  It was great to get a break from what seemed like a very long winter.

In my free time I enjoy sleep!

You’re so cool! I don’t think I have read through a single thing like this before.
So good to find another person with original thoughts on this topic.
Really.. many thanks for starting this up. This site is something that is required on the web, someone
    with a bit of originality!
